Project support

Leader projects are carried out together with others and should be based on collaboration. Therefore, you need to have at least one partner in the project. You also need to contribute through your engagement and your own resources. This can include volunteer hours, premises, materials, or other resources. It is possible to receive support for up to 100 percent of the project's actual costs, in addition to the volunteer resources.

The application is formally made in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's e-service. All information needed to assess the project must be included in the application, including an activity plan, budget, and other relevant documents.

Small project support

Small projects are a simplified project form for smaller development projects, up to 40,000 kr including VAT. These are easier to apply for, manage, and report than regular project support and are particularly suitable for feasibility studies, pilot projects, and similar. Applicants must be a legal entity; private individuals cannot apply.

The projects must fall within two of LEADER Mellansjölandet's intervention areas. The directions that can be applied for are as follows:

• Entrepreneurship and business development
• Attractive living environment

Small projects must not contain investments. Costs for project managers can be included, but must then be a business owner who invoices the cost. It is not possible to apply for own salaries. Small projects must not have their main activities in the city centers of Örebro and Karlskoga.

The application must be sent by mail or delivered to the LEADER Mellansjölandet office and be signed by an authorized signatory. Complements can then be made by email.
