Östra Almby Recreation Club has after many years of need finally received the opportunity for a solution for a clubhouse for the association's active members and also a gathering place for the village's residents. This will be done by renovating existing modules that have been used as school facilities in Lindesberg. There is thus a sustainability perspective where the association tries to reuse as much as possible. There is currently a lack of clubhouse, changing rooms, showers, and toilets as well as warm storage. Changing rooms, toilets, and showers are requirements from the federation to be able to run 11-a-side games. A clubhouse by the football field, outdoor gym, and hopefully upcoming multisport arena would become even more than today the natural meeting place in the village. The project group and board would like to see more areas of use for the future, such as youth center activities. Funds are being sought to complete the clubhouse and will be used for the purchase and installation of changing rooms, adaptation of toilets and wet rooms, kitchen, terrace, furniture, modern locks, alarm systems, and solar panels. The clubhouse will be the village's gathering place and will also be used by other associations in the village such as road associations.
