Active Kilsmo

Development Group Kilsmo

1. We create new conditions for meetings between people to be able to play, socialize and create new contacts. Today there are no such groups in the countryside and everyone in our vicinity is welcome to participate. We want to meet once a week and play together. The place feels obvious, the mission church which is a very nice venue that we do not want to lose as the congregation is in decline. So to benefit the venue, we want to get activities started there.
2. We want to create conditions for meetings between people and creative learning. Here we can gather and teach each other, young and old, different cultures and come together around an interest. Meeting once a week is the goal.
3. We want to start collecting information and writing down the history of our village with all the original people, buildings, and other points of interest. There is, for example, a Kilsmo song and a Kilsmo chair, etc., that we want to highlight. Eventually, we want to have a historical walk for everyone to visit. But first, there is a big job to get everything written down.

For all these activities, we thought we would be in the Mission Church's premises which wants 5000 SEK in annual rent for meetings once a week.
