The bridge festival

Our beautiful stone arch bridge turns 200 years old this year. We want to celebrate and document this. We will organize a jubilee party in Åtorp at the foot of the bridge. It will be a day to remember, with a festive program all day long. There will be something for everyone, young and old, and everything will be free.

There will be children's activities, performances by local talents. Tug of war on the bridge between Närke and Värmland since the border runs on the bridge, the governors are team captains. Troubadour and dance music in the evening and hopefully all night long.

We will work to uncover as much history as we can in order to prepare a documentation booklet for this day and for the future.
