Troll hike

The troll walk in Hasselfors is an event that has been ongoing for 6 years and coincides every Friday during the autumn break in Laxå municipality. The event started on a very small scale with a few parents hiding surprises in the woods for their children. The word spread and in the following years, more families wanted to participate. The event grew and the parents began to dress up. Today, the event is one of Hasselfors' largest events. Around 65 children and adults from the community contribute with theater, planning, and logistics for the project's implementation. In 2022, the troll walk was visited by a total of 500 traveling children and adults who got to meet trolls, robbers, the wolf, fairies, monks, gnomes, and more. We want to create an event through the requested project support that will be a feature for a long time to come. As there is currently no funding to develop the event, we see that the requested funds for investments create the conditions intended to achieve the goal of a sustainable arrangement over time.
