Ramundeboda – Laxå Local Heritage Association

Ramundeboda – Laxå Local Heritage Association was founded in 1954. The association manages and maintains Laxå Industrial Museum in one of Laxå manor's wing buildings. Furthermore, the association works for members and the public with lectures, film screenings, Midsummer celebrations, exhibitions, and guided tours in our historical environment at Ramundeboda parish cottage as well as further education through study trips in the surroundings.

We will organize a jubilee day when the association turns 70 years old and want to invite members and the public. With the day, we want to showcase what the local heritage association and other associations do and create opportunities to gain more members. During the day, there will be a large cake party with musical entertainment, local crafts and association exhibition, a tour of the industrial museum and the archive run by the association. For the children, there will be an obstacle course, pony rides, and competitions. Collaboration will take place with a local entrepreneur at Laxå Manor.
